Having hunted in the West most of my life, sitting in a tree stand took some getting used to. I moved to Wisconsin in 2007. the first year I was going to try the western spot and stalk. What a joke. I was used to glassing elk, deer, and antelope at a couple hundred yards, out 1000yds. Now I am lucky to be able to see 100 yds in the brush. I have become used to the tree stands now, and do a lot of year round scouting.
