Keeping an eye on your Optics
Optics is an essential tool when hunting. But before you purchase the optics that you think seems right for you, there are two questions that you must answer first.
1. What are the things that you need in an optic?
2. How much is your budget?
Here are some of the things to consider when buying for high-quality optics.
a. The Field of View – some hunting optics has a regular FOV or field of view which only allows you to view only a small range or distance. If you want to hunt a lot or you want to see more area, then go for optics with wide FOV.
b. The Diameter of the Lens – the amount of illumination that would help you see clearly
c. The Eye Relief
d. Exit Pupil
Essential Hunting Gears
Before you go out into the woods, of course there are some things that you must bring along with you if you want to go hunting. These are the essentials that would help you make the experience more fun and memorable.
1. Compass – unless you have GPS or have a great sense of direction where you left your RV, a compass must be in your pocket when hunting.
2. A canine – well if you already got the superb sense of smell that would track the animals that you are hunting, then you no longer need a canine companion.
3. Rifle – or you want to stab the hunted animal instead?
4. Knife – you’re in the wild, so a knife will always be helpful when hunting.
Feel free to add more if you think there are more important things that you must bring along when hunting.
